Purple to Blue colored, 6 petals with yellow stamen. Not true grass but of the Iris family. Found in grassy areas and woodlands

Habitat:

Meadows of the west, Found in grassy areas and woodlands

Notes:

Requesting confirmation due to most varieties have rounded or stunted petals and the one I found is pointed more like a star.
