Description:

Mottled grey beetle (I think?) that blends in with tree bark. Yellow eyes. This and other bugs drinking sap from this dead tree see video for beetle/bug movement.

Thanks for the ID! While the very small area of his head is almost metallic, the rest of him has a very matte appearance. It didn't even occur to me to consider him metallic as a descriptor.
