Tamias Straitus
The Eastern Chipmunk is only about 3 cm in length. It has reddish-brown fur on its body and dark and light brown stripes going down its back along with a lightly colored stripe over it's eye.
They usually live in deciduous wooded areas or urban parks in the United States and southern Canada.
They're mainly active during the day. They guard their burrows and usually live in solitude except during mating season.
