Description:

Photo take at -40 ft near a coral reef. The name is derived from the dark spot on the fish's dorsal fin. This, combined with a vertical, black bar through the eye, is designed to confuse predators.

Habitat:

Relate to the coral reef and shallow lagoons found from Florida , the Gulf of México, Central America to Brazil.
