It was amazing - my heart was racing, I could hardly hold the camera still. He was so close we could have touched him so after I took this shot I thought I better not lean so far out the window ;-)
Great set. What a thrill that must have been. Looks like he's gained the wisdom of a few battles.
1st photo - you can just see our rear headlights, bottom left corner. He came right past our car and stopped for photos here.
4th photo - scenting a tree
6th photo - notice the Elephant in the background. The Lion gave him a wide berth!
