Thanks all for the favs and comments ... gives me a lot of motivation! This is my first post on Project Noah, I do feel like sharing a lot more in future :)
Thanks Gopal murali ... Yeah, it was indeed a juvenile one.
Thanks BalincaguinConservancy. Checked out your links ... the one I saw looked more like the 3rd link (Ganges soft-shelled turtle); but as Gopal Murali mentioned, can't probably say for sure unless it's an adult.
Thanks flybeasley, NeilDazet. I know the watermark is a little distracting, but this is the only way I can make the photo-stealers' life a little more challenging and interesting ;)
Looks like some soft shell turtle.need full body shot as BalincaguinConservancy said and also as its a juvenile its hard to ID from head as no markings are developed.
Thanks BalincaguinConservancy. I didn't take the full body! My bad! I'll remember it next time. In the meantime, I'll try and get more shots of the same turtle, if I get to see it again :)
Welcome to PN, sen.aranya! That's a good close-up but do you have one of the whole body? It is recommended to take several shots from different angles to help with ID.

No problem sen.aranya, we're all learning here...
I think you're right Gopal, here are examples of some softshell turtles:
Ganges soft-shelled turtle - http://www.arkive.org/ganges-soft-shelle...
Chinese softshell turtle - http://www.arkive.org/chinese-softshell-...
Florida Soft-Shelled Turtle - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Soft-S...
I personally think the transparency of the copyright is set so it doesn't detract from the photo and serves its purpose.
I like this photo, although I think the large copyright should be shrunk and moved to the bottom of the photo.
Is that a watermark on the photo?
