High climbing vine or vine-like shrub, with pinnately compound leaves. Orange-red trumpet shaped flowers are on terminal panicles.
These were growing in a sunny area near the shore of Lake Lewisville.

My trumpet creeper is blooming now and I have a yellow variety.
