Leaf beetle in eucalypt

I have added a photo. It is not a good photo, but I think will help to ID.
The pronotum, like mine, are without markings. Scutellum black as in

This beetle is variable and is giving us some trouble to identify.
I believe it is Paropsisterna variicollis. The color is very variable. The black legs are important but hard to see. The grooves along the wing covers (elytra) are also important for identification. You have shown these well.
Very interesting find Patrick as we found the same one yesterday near Melbourne and are unable to ID it exactly. Paropsisterna species... possibly P cloelia. Welcome to Project Noah... hope you enjoy the site.
