Description:

Also known as "woodchucks" or "marmots." When fully grown, it is about 16-32 inches long. They are active by day, and never travel far from their dens.

Habitat:

Pastures, meadows, old fields, wooded areas.

Notes:

There were four immature groundhogs living under the porch of an old dormitory. These are the most adventurous of the group!
