Episyrphus balteatus, sometimes called the marmalade hoverfly, is a relatively small hoverfly of the Syrphidae family, widespread throughout the Palaearctic region, which covers Europe, North Asia, and North Africa. Spotted and photographed on my hand, in Loutraki village, Macedonia, Greece.
