Orange Jessamine

Murraya paniculata

Description:

Murraya paniculata, commonly called Orange Jessamine, is a tropical, evergreen plant bearing small, white, scented flowers, which is grown as an ornamental tree or hedge. Murraya is closely related to Citrus. Some varieties bear small orange to red fruit shaped similar to kumquats. Orange jasmine is often mistaken for lake view jasmine. Although Orange and lake view jasmine are related, lake view does not grow fruit and orange jasmine is an actual citrus bearing tree.
