Trailing or sprawling, vinelike perennial. Plant is covered in soft spines. Flowers are 30 - 60, densely crowded into terminal cluster. Leaves are double compound.

Habitat:

Sunny meadow near Lake Lewisville,Tx.

Notes:

Leaves are sensitive and close at night, on cloudy days, or when touched.
