Description:

Hates the potting soil I've got it in. Long Green droopy leaves that fall off constantly.

Please help me ID this species even though it's no longer in the wild so I can better figure out how to care for it!

That looks to me like a Croton of some kind, there are very many varieties, you mostly see the large leaved colorful ones that have a lot of red and yellows. But there are very green ones with corkscrew or slender leaves. Like this one. Leaves shouldn't be droopy:
