Description:

Of moderate size, up to 6 cm. Head elongated, narrow and dotted with large and distinctive eardrum. Back of golden tan to dark brown, usually green. Two dorsolateral folds of golden yellow. With a black face mask and upper lip clear. It has bright yellow bars or spots on the thighs. Belly yellow to bright orange to yellow, turning red on the undersides of the legs. Dark crossbars on the upper surfaces of the thighs. Hind legs with large webbed fingers and elongated tip (Savage, 2002).
