Thanks Malcolm, for the explanation for the brown headed Gull.

The difference between Brown-headed ans Black-headed is mainly in the wingtips. Black-headed has white leading edges and black trailing edges, while Brown-headed has overall black tips with short white bars on the first to third primaries.
