Ara ararauna
This is a large South American parrot with blue top parts and yellow under parts. It is a member of the large group of Neotropical parrots known as macaws. It inhabits forest (especially varzea, but also in open sections of terra firme or non-flooded forest) and woodland of tropical South America.
They are often seen in Trinidad and Northern and Central South America. The Blue-and-yellow Macaw uses its powerful beak for breaking nutshells, and also for climbing up and hanging from trees.

I am too. Thank you Jemma :)
They are highly endangered from poaching and being sold in black markets to other countries.
I am just so happy that your country is taking steps to protect these beauties.
Thank Jemma. No Mark. He was from the zoo. It's illegal in my country to have these birds as pets.
