Description:

A very tall pine that dies not begin branching out until at least 15-20 feet off the ground. Recognizable by its red bark color.

Habitat:

Eurasian mountainsides within the arctic circle.

Notes:

The oldest recorded age of this species was 700 years old. Sadly, many do not see half this age as they are harvested for their industrial value.
