The Clipper Butterfly

Parthenos sylvia philippensis

Description:

Here's another one from the butterfly farm I visited in Subic Bay. This one has what I would consider severe wing damage but he's still flying. I saw a couple of other butterflies that had at least half their wings missing and they were still flying too.

Habitat:

Butterfly Farm
