Male Northern Cardinal (beat up)

Description:

This male Cardinal is beat up a bit around the head. Both sides of his face look as though he's had it rough. He flew up chasing some females. They landed in a the nearby tree, and he landed in the RedBud Tree. Then he flew to a feeder perch where there were a few sunflower seeds on the ground from a feeder.
