Hi Angela, this is a wonderful spotting! I moved it to the Arthropod category for you. Since you don't know the ID for this spotting, please delete the text in the Scientific name and click the box next to "Help me ID this species". This tells everyone you need help with the ID. Thank you!
Angela, Do you know the species of spider? If not, can you upload this picture to http://bugguide.net/node/view/6/bgimage and get an ID from them. It would be fascinating to know what spider makes such an unusual web.

Nice hand :)
The spider is not very well visible, but it obviously has club-like feet, which makes me think it must be some kind of Nephila.

Wow!!
This is a NATURAL web, not a screen.
I know that's a screen that the spider is sitting on, but I wish it was its web!
