Atlantic Spotted Dolphin

Description:

A pod of Atlantic Spotted Dolphins, seen off the coast of São Miguel island in the Azores, Portugal. These medium-sized dolphins are born virtually spotless, with white spots on the dorsal surface and black spots on the ventral surface appearing as the they mature.

Habitat:

Atlantic Ocean, mainly in the Gulf Stream
