Long-Finned Eel

Anguilla dieffenbachii

Description:

A large eel, and long lived, that we were feeding with spoons at Willowbank Wildlife Reserve. A very cool experience, and the eels were voracious!

Habitat:

A pond in Willowbank Wildlife Reserve. Lots to eat, and some of the eels were almost 70 years old!
