Black Squirrel

Description:

This squirrel was eating seed off of the ground that fell from our bird feeder. It has some odd brownish-red stripes on its tail that make it very unique.

Habitat:

Common throughout Ontario.

Notes:

The black squirrel is a melanistic subgroup of the Eastern Grey Squirrel
