This is the European Mole also known as the Common Mole, Talpa europaea. Moles are very interesting creatures! They have proteins in their blood that can recycle oxygen, which is why they can live in burrows with high levels of carbon dioxide without suffocating! Awesome find!

You have this guy listed in the Marine Mammals of the world mission.
It doesn't live in water. It lives underground.
