Description:

Large (> 2 ft long) white seabird with gray-back wings. sitting on nest.

Habitat:

Dry, leeward, coastal, tropical ecosystem.

Notes:

Spotted at Kaena Point Natural Area Reserve on Oahu. Photographed from a distance to avoid disturbing the birds. Photographed using Minolta 700si, 100-300 mm telephoto zoom lens and Kodak TMax100 film. 35 mm negatives later scanned to created digital images posted here.
