Anolis trachyderma (?)

Description:

Small little reptile- approximately 4 inches long? Found close to forest floor on a night hike near ACTS field station in Peruvian Amazon. Very nice patterning along the sides!

I think Anolis trachydermis is safe. Look at the very short snout and the arches/bows on tha back of the body. Anolis limifrons has no arches and a longer snout.

If I could pull his dulap I could tell you, but my friend ian and I think it is a Anole lizard (Anolis limifrons)
