Long Black insect with orange spot on back segmented long shape. Found next to yellow ladybugs on my apple tree and elderberry tree. Maybe larval stage for spmethibg else? Possibly carnivorous and consumes aphids as elderberry tree was infested with them.
Urban temperate garden. Found under very shaded apple and elderberry tree.
