I agree, Matthew. The only other toad choice for Michigan is the Fowler's toad, and it has 3 or more bumps per dark spot, and this toad doesn't fit that description. Nice link suggestion, Maria, and good research, Matthew! :-)

Thanks for the advice. After further review it looks like an Eastern American Toad.
