This was growing on a vine, in a secondary growth of the Atlantic forest. There were no leaves.

Cool spotting; I first though acai berries but they grow on a palm tree that has leaves. Nice that you got the insect in one shot, too. You could put that in a separate spotting so someone could help you ID that.
