Clidemia hirta
The leaf shape is ovate and its margin is Ciliate (it has fine hair). The leaf venation is both netted pinnate and parallel. The leaf arrangement is whorled and it has soft hair. The bark is platy, but the hair on the bark is soft. This plant is very common in the SAS Rainforest, and it grows all throughout the forest in all parts of the forest. The plant can vary in sizes, however the shapes of the leaves are the same all throughout the forest. The plant usually grows on the rainforest floor, and it can grow up to the understory sometimes, depending on the size of the plant.
