Nymphargus griffithsi

Populations recognized as Nymphargus griffithsi have dense, black speckling on a greenish dorsum 1–5, a markedly truncate snout6, no webbing among fingers, and no humeral spines. In Mindo, only Nymphargus lasgralarias may hold a resemblance. However, this other glassfrog has an immaculate dorsum, and a call considerably shorter than that of Nymphargus griffithsi

Juvenile - note the dark pattern that appears on the back. The young frogs will lose this pattern as they go into adulthood, only retaining the peppering found on the legs and back.
