I agree - six legs usually means not a spider (8 legs) Looks like there are wing pads, so that would make it a nymph of something. Antennae looks longer than the body, so that would point to katydid. I am definitely not a bug expert, but these are some of the observations I use to narrow my search of US insects. Can't wait to see what it turns out to be. Nice clear photos. Thanks for sharing.

Definitely not a spider. Maybe a type of katydid nymph? WOW! This is incredible looking. I am baffled.
