Saguaro

Carnegiea gigantea

Description:

Most prominently, saguaros can be seen along the skyline. They are the tall, pencil-like cacti that rise high above the rest of the desert fauna. The saguaros seen are of varying ages. The one to the far right can be assumed to be 50+ years old because of the arm growing on the side of the main saguaro.

Habitat:

Sonoran Desert

Changed it to focus on the saguaros prominent in this photograph. Hope it's okay now, thank you!

Hi Courtney, this is a lovely scene but we don't accept landscapes here so please can you change the title & description of this spotting so that they focus upon one of the species in the photo. Thanks!
