Giant Uraniid Moth

Very large, pale brown with single dark thin stripe coming down from top of moth to base of each wing. Wingspan approximately 12cm.

I have a large sub-tropical garden in the centre of Bangkok.

It landed on my window screen and is still there after an hour.
