A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Addax nasomaculatus
According to the information provided at the "Lecocq reserve" and to other internet sources, there are only about 100 addax antilopes left on the world and are considered critically endangered species. These animals are very slow and therefore become easy pray for others. Since 1998 different uruguayan institutions are carrying out research regarding this animal and you may find around 20 of them in the reserve.
They live in desertic and semidesertic regions as they need little water to survive.
Beautiful and curious animals who try to get near their visitors and observe them with curiosity.

I would Larry but I can't join the mission as it says: "This mission has ended and is no longer accepting submissions."
