Spotting

Description:

A fungus growing out of the wood retaining wall in my yard. Maybe poison pie??? Hebeloma Crustuliniforme? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hebeloma_cr... Any one have any ideas of what else it could be if not poison pie?

Habitat:

Northeastern NY. Albany. Suburbs, neighborhood with a lot of tree, wood chips, mulch, and critters.

Notes:

Only last two days. Came out after the rain and the wilted and died away when the heat wave hit...or maybe that was it's life cycle?
