Mom with 5 cubs near Patagonia, Arizona

Habitat:

Riparian area with rocky and vegetated hillsides surrounding

Notes:

They were crossing the road but then decided to turn around and not go to the other side after we stopped and got pictures from a fair distance. At one point all the babies were huddled together under their mama.

The photo I got of that one was awful, but I ended up seeing another one on that trip...but it was at a feeder so it wasn't as cool haha. Still, have better photos of that bird.

Joshua, that'd be cool! This was near the rest stop in Patagonia and I found a Violet-crowned Hummingbird perched up in a tree there. Also we got the Thick-billed Kingbirds too. Fun area.
