Description:

This small species of fish is only found in tributaries of the Chattahoochee River. This species is only found above the fall line, this specimen is an example of the southern end of its range. They prefer clean, rocky, upland streams which become sparse in the southern piedmont.

Habitat:

Upland rocky stream.
