Spotting

Description:

The photo doesn't show the colour as bright as it was. the yellow was more like gold.

Habitat:

This was in our house. In Lombok Indonesia.

Notes:

This is the only time I have seen this in 14 years in Indonesia.

I think this one is Appensa.

Other common one might be Argiope modesta, but this one is in my eyes more black/grayish than reddish like yours and Appensa.
The scond link from above shows in my eyes also Modesta than Appensa.

Quite difficult to ascertain the exact species this belongs to based on the spotting location. We could use a little help from an expert arachnologist.

This looks like a species of Argiope.
