Description:

Young sporocarps of Arcyria sp., a slime mold. Probably Arcyria obvelata a yellowy buff or orangey buff coloured slime mold. The sporocarps of this slime mold are stalked, clustered and cylindrical in shape appearing rather finger like. In this case the spores have already been dispersed acquiring a rather spongy appearance. Also known as A. nutans.

Habitat:

Dead wood, probably pine tree.
