Probably a Chipping Sparrow (Spizella passerina).

I don't think it's a Robin. Robin's don't have the "stripping" that we see on this guy. Plus when a Robin is that size it has a lot more down type feathers. As for what it is I'm not sure, juvenile birds of that size are hard to id. I'd guess a sparrow of some kind, maybe song.

I think this is a fledgling American Robin, but still really young for me to tell. Anybody else out there?
