Praying Mantis

Description:

Praying mantis. From an egg sack purchased at a store. The pictures show them hatching and as they grew. They started looking like tiny brown grass leaves. They are just now (a month later) showing some green. I do not know the scientific name.

Habitat:

Currently residing in out raised garden beds.

Notes:

The pictures detail their growth over the first month of life.

Looks good, now!! Downloading more than one image(which I do) at a time, super slow connection(which I sometimes have), connection timing out(happens to me all the time), will all cause that issue. You fixed it well :)

When I created the post, number 4 was the first I downloaded. I don't know how they got mixed up with the duplication. I attempted to correct.

Make #4 your first and number 2 your second. They are the best of the series, Purists will recommend that you split the spottings. Oh and 1 and 6 are the same(5 is generallly all the system will let me add, before it starts kicking some off and doubling others)

I wonder if this is our native mantis, or if it qualifies for the Away from home mission?
