Eunicea laciniata
Photo take at -40 ft on a coral reef. This Eunicea is very common in the Caribbean. Colonies are medium brown, branching mainly from near the base, and they branch from all round the main stem rather than in one plane. The branches are cylindrical and thick so that the protruding calices are relatively small. The branch ends are bulbous.
Found on coral reefs from Florida, all the Caribbean Sea, Central America to Brazil.
