I really don't think it is Argiope argentata. The abdomen is too elongated even for a juvenile.

From the pics in bugguide.net the species seems to vary a bit possibly due to age as this link (http://ento.psu.edu/extension/factsheets...) mentions younger spiders have a mostly white abdomen. Maybe someone else with more experience with this species can confirm.
