Description:

Long slender Lizard. A very good swimmer. It was striped and shiny golden color in the sun. From the tip of his tail to the head it was about 1.50m.

Habitat:

In the jungle, in the Erawaan Waterfall in Erawaan National Park, Kanchanaburi Thailand

Notes:

Early morning at 8.00. It was quiet in the forest and when we arrived at the second tier of Erawaan Waterfall we saw this gorgeous creature swimming there! He was gracious and moved very smooth through the water.

Thanks Aaron. I upload most of my pictures via my Iphone and something goes wrong nearly every time.
Do you happen to know what kind of monitor lizard it is?

Hello, Muckpuk. Your first image isn't loading properly for me. Can you check it and possibly upload it again? Thanks!

Also, are you unsure of the lizard's ID? If so, please remove the scientific name and tick the box that asks for ID assistance. That way someone can help you get the proper ID.
