Ladybug/Ladybird

Coccinellidae

Description:

Oval, dome-shaped bodies with six legs. They can have spots, stripes or no markings at all. Most common are the seven-spotted, red or orange coccinellids that have a black head and white patches on each side.

Habitat:

Natural habitat is all types of vegetation in forests, fields, grasslands, gardens, and even people's homes.

Notes:

This specific ladybug seem to be on it's own. It was on a big leaf outside my school. It had a red body, a black head, and seven black spots.
