Looks like a pet or Zac's neighborhood is got few domestic rabbits on the loose.
Dangerous place by the roadside!
This is a domestic rabbit. You can tell from the lop ears and the body shape. Is this your pet? If not, it is possible this poor rabbit was abandoned by someone or escaped from its yard (more likely the former).
