Gorgasia preclara
The Splendid Garden Eel, also known as the Orangebarred Garden Eel, is a species of marine garden eel from the Indo-Pacific. This fish reaches up to 40 cm (16 in) in length and has a body diameter of 1 cm (0.39 in). It occurs from from the Maldives to the Ryukyus and Coral Sea. As other garden eels, it is found in groups in sandy areas. Typically only their head and uppermost body protrudes from the sand, and they will retreat entirely if approached by large fish or divers. They feed on zooplankton. (information from Wikipedia)
These eels were spotted at Dallas World Aquarium.
