Annorion...if I would have known that I would have chased off the Brown Anole..myself...Take that for species power..lol

The browns are invasive and typically bigger than greens. I've also read that adult brown males will sometimes prey on smaller greens. It is thought that they are responsible for reducing the greens population. So yeah the little green was probably smart to run away!

Thanks..the green one was there first...then the brown came along..and chased the green one away...I guess he's more dominant of the two.
