Fujimusume Clematis

Clematis 'The President' x Clematis 'Asagasumi'

Description:

A type of large early-flowered clematis know in Japan as Fujimusume Clematis, spotted in the Ashikaga Flower Park, in Tochigi, Japan.

Notes:

Clematis 'Fujimusume' is a hardy Japanese cultivar created by Seijozo Arai in 1952. The plant was created by the crossing of Clematis 'The President' and Clematis 'Asagasumi' so has excellent parents! The plant will grow to 2-2.5 metres and has strong growth.
